Feb 20 Block 3/4

1. Finished the questions in the cheek smear investigation lab. All but the last question.

3.  We made models of chloroplasts with green playdough

4. watched a you tube video on mitochondria: https://youtu.be/Py4R_Up2uBc

5. We made a model of a mitochondria with balloons and lentils

6. We did our worksheet on photosynthesis and cellular respiration and the chemical reactions involved

Jan 31 - We did the same activities as the block 3/4 class yesterday 1. table top twitter - we discussed what we needed to do as learners to be successful, respected/respectful and safe 2. My Job/Your job - students identified what their responsibilities are, what the teacher's responsibilities are and what our shared responsibilities are. 3. We figured out that "competencies" is a tricky word and that we think it means "being good at" - more to come on this
